Solidworks: use one part as cutting tool for another
Hi guys.
I would like to fit two parts and i was wondering if there is a way of doing it...something like split tool maybe...any ideas?
One more thing, I have two different parts and i want to merge them into one part (Multi-body, Not assembly), is it possible?

For the second part of your question, make you assembly and then save as a part. It may ask for what geometries you want to keep, make the appropriate selection and now you will have a multibodied single part file.
Draw your parts as desired as a multibody
"Save Bodies"
Done
ok so i saved my assembly as part but the result is one multi-body part of two bodies without features (imported geometry only).
