Why Solidworks 2004 crashes

I've used Solidworks 2004 on my PC earlier this week but the program is repeating to crash when I try to open or create a new or existing part. The program will keep running if I create a new drawing but will also crash if I try to create a new assembly. I have it installed on a 64 bit Intel I5 pc running Windows 10 Home ver. 1903. Anyone know what could be causing the crashes?
