R & D Engineer

March 2025 - present
I currently work as a mechanical engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where I deal with labware plastic products and understand how designs behave in real manufacturing and usage conditions. Over time, I’ve grown more interested in product innovation—especially how small mechanical changes can improve performance, reliability, and sustainability. I often find myself thinking about why a product is designed a certain way and how it could be done better or simpler. Outside of work, I enjoy reading books, traveling, and spending time learning about past history and old engineering ideas. Looking at how things were done earlier helps me think more clearly about how products should be designed today. I like learning continuously, both from engineering and from life outside work.
