How to assemble parts in PTC Creo.

1. Step 1: Open a new file

   • Open a new file and select assembly.
   • Then select design.
   • Select the required template.

2. Step 2: Assembling the base Component

   • Click on the Assembly tab and open the required part model from the file location you have saved your part model.
   • After selecting the desired component apply the constraint as default.
   • Click OK.

3. Step 3: Assemble all the parts

   • Again click on assemble.
   • Open the desired 3D part model.
   • Then apply the constraint as coincident by selecting the two surfaces to be coincident.
   • Apply all the constraints that needed to be define.
   • Apply the constraints until it is fully constrained
   • Click OK.

4. Step 4: Repeat the procedure

   • Repeat all the procedure until all the components are assembled.

5. Step 5: Save the file

   • Once all the parts are assembled save the file.
