how to import Iges file in solidworks?

There's two ways to utilize IGES files, one to open, two to import them into a part.

Here's the steps for the second option.

  1. Step 1:

    You can import an iges into a file by going to Insert -> Features -> Imported

  2. Step 2:

    Then in the browse window select "IGES (*.igs,*.iges)
