How to make dome go through other objects

came up with a solution for it
here's a tutorial

  1. Step 1:

    make a dome on flat surface

  2. Step 2:

    surpress dome and sketch how you want the lofted boss to appear

  3. Step 3:

    finish lofted boss how you want it

  4. Step 4:

    unsuppress dome and it goes through lofted boss
