Creating Perspective Views on Drawings at Solid Works

1. Step 1: Show perspective

   

   
   

   To display the model in Perspective view:

2. Step 2: Modify Perspective

   To change the perspective:

   1. Select Perspective  (View toolbar) or View > Display > Perspective.
   2. Click View > Modify > Perspective.
   3. Enter a value for Object Sizes Away .

3. Step 3: Adding Named Views

   Right-click on an empty area of the screen and select View Orientation

   

   
   

   Pin the dialog

   

   
   

   Orient the model and create named views

   

   
   

   

   
   

   
   

4. Step 4: Create a drawing

   Create a drawing and select the created perspective view

   

   
   

   

   
   

   Correct the model orientation
