Tutorial: How to check dimensions and derive ?

This is my entery to Tip and trics challange

1. Step 1:

   Hello :) so
   1) we have to have an assembley
   2) open it
   3) choose "inspect" (1)
   4) analyze interference (2)
   

   

2. Step 2:

   1) click at "analyze interference" (1)
   2) define first solid/assembley (2)
   3 )click on 1st assembley/solid in model enviroment (3)
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Define second solid/assembley
   1) click at "analyze interference" (1)
   2) click on 2nd assembley/solid in model enviroment (2)
   3) then hit ok (3)

   

4. Step 4:

   Now we can see where the solid/assembleys are intersecting each other
   1) hit ok (1)
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Now save your assembley
   1) click on "Inventor" button (1)
   2) click on "save as" (2)
   3) click on "save copy as" (3)
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Now create a new .ipt
   1) hit "inventor" button (1)
   2) choose "standart .ipt" (2)
   3) hit create (3)
   

   

7. Step 7:

   In new part
   1) select "manage" (1)
   2) hit "derive" icon (2)
   

   

8. Step 8:

   Select copy of your assembley we created and then
   1) Select red "-" next to every part (1)
   2) Then select the only one we want to create to yeallow "+" (2)
   3) Hit ok (3)

   

9. Step 9:

   Now we can see our part derived so there will not be any colisions for 100%.
   But check for error which this procced can create and remove them with standart tools.
