Safe way to accurately measure the depth of a machined socket when space makes it difficult to use measuring instruments. IMPORTANT: In this case we are using a Facing Boring Head to machine the bottom of the socket.

This series shows how to measure car body dimensions. The ruler is an interactive tool where you can drag lines in the scene to measure distances or angles. Optionally, the snap to geometry can be activated for better accuracy or to measure wall thickness. The ruler can be accessed from the toolbar.
