You have a Cavity side and you have the Core side. The Core pulls apart from the Cavity and that's the Dyeline or the Tooling Direction.

In this video, I have simplified the demonstration of all the mold tool commands by considering a simple plastic component. NOTE : THIS VIDEO DOESN'T GO THROUGH DESIGN CONSIDERATION. I teach you how to create core, cavity, side core and analysis commands. I hope this gives you a quick start on exploring the commands available in solidworks.
