What do the Green Dots Mean?
What do the green dots next to some posts in Groups mean? I always thought it signaled new content in a post, but I think that is identified by the title being in bold font.
I often see posts become bold, and have a green dot even if no new content was posted to them. In the attached screenshot the "What is 1" ball bearing?" post is bold with a green dot. But nothing new has been posted to that question in five days, and I was the last one to write an answer.
Just curious if the bold and green dots are only weird on my browser (Firefox), or if there is a better explanation for what they signal.
Accepted answer
The green dots represent that there is a new Conversation or new reply in that discussion. Once you click on the Discussion the next time you go the Group homepage it should go away.
