Onshape User Group

Onshape is a cloud based CAD platform developed by the creators of Solidworks. As such it is much like Solidworks in appearance and operation but also uniquely adjusted for browser use. I am sure there are many retired CAD users who continue to do hobby work at home and need a free option for a design environment. I chose Onshape for those reasons.
I wish to help other Onshape users and attract others who also wish to help others in this new environment which being cloud based I believe is the future of CAD. As a group we could possibly influence advances and new features in Onshape by sheer number of requests giving us some input into what features have the highest priority and are added earliest.

If you are used to doing something in another CAD system, but are having trouble doing it in Onshape, ask this group. Don't forget to check Onshape forums and help as well. Youtube has some good tutorials for most basic functions and operations.
