Convert Inventor to Fusion 360?

By Meir Gottesman on 25 Jan 08:54 3 answers 0 comments

Jason Clark made a really nice model, but it's only available in Inventor or Solid edge. Could someone convert it into a format everyone can use? I'd like to open it in Fusion 360 personally.

If you want to convert a Inventor to a step-file (.stp - a file every CAD system can open), you need to open the file. Go to <File> then <Export> - <Cad Format>. There you can choose the type you want to create.

But normaly you can open a inventor file in Fusion 360 without any problem.

Thanks Kyani - I should have stated that I don't have Inventor :)
