Does any one know how to convert STL file to solid file through Reverse engineering in fusion 360?

I has lot of imperfections on them, need to be cleaned first

I have had to heavily modify a STL, generated by a OpenSCAD script, on Fusion360 for some corrections in the past. The best way I found was to simply import the file and simply start layering sketches and redoing its features.

If you want to simply enlarge or add a hole, you could try to use "Convert Mesh" feature, beware, all the hundreds or thousands of triangles of the mesh will be converted to individual faces on a solid body on Fusion 360, so its very laggy on detailed meshes, I would recommend doing it only for very simple modifications.
(Note that this feature will probably fail if the mesh doesn't have a closed volume)
