FEA - Thermal & Static
I am performing an FEA with both pressure and temperature in Solidworks.
The results are however are very unrealistic with stresses being in excess of 4000 MPa, has anyone experienced similar results or can anyone assist.
These are for pressure vessels & piping.

Keep in mind that the FEA packages bundled with CAD software are usually not meant for detail or comprehensive work. They are meant for a quick check, most don't handle assemblies, only parts. You may try full featured FEA packages like Nastran or Ansys.
For your case, try to de-feature your part, simplification of a part, allows the FEA to converge with more realistic numbers. If you can, increase your mesh nodes.
