Help with Motion Study. [Solidworks 2018]
This is related to Solidworks. So I am trying to animate an escapement mechanism for a mechanical watch but I am not able to do it correctly. The parts somehow seem to be bouncing when they hit another body and I cant seem to know what I can set the restitution value as. Any help will be appreciated. There is one part suppressed because I was trying to isolate the problem and do one thing at a time.
If you can, please do unsuppress the part and complete the Motion Study with it rotating.

You can see here, without even moving the balancing wheel, the lever is rocking on its own. Can I do anything to absolutely stop the escapement gear from pushing the lever? By mechanics, I would say shortening the arm would be a solution. Maybe I will try that while you give me a reply.
