I know that I can select any object(s) and add constraints by bringing up the constraints dialog box. But I've noticed people in tutorials conveniently bring up an in-context menu and adding constraints quickly. How do I do this?
i know better than this!!
click on constraint icon.
then click on two lines you want add dimention
then click right and you could easily choose which type of constraint you want.
You don't have to give any dimensions... just click an option.. and the whole sketch will get complete dimensions automatically.
yes,i know.but sometimes you need specific dimention.normally we use constraint icon, not automatic.
thanks amin...thats exactly what I wanted :)
Follow the step after selecting the sketch!!
and you are done.

i think its impossible!?
hold the control key right click u'll get the menu
for eg with reference to the video the user was creating a symmetry to the taper profle by invoking a reference line i.e,hold the control key select the taper lines right click select symmetry option click the reference line. That way you will have the symmetry.BTW that's fast way of doing so which i highly recommend.
thanks for the reply...but that doesn't work gurudath
It is possible to add constraints quickly in CATIA.
