When I have a surface model of a car (eg. the BMW M6 model of Khelifaoui Amma) and I want to 3D print it, it will cost a lot of support material. Is it possible to 'cut-off' the roof, the hood etc and make them a part and print it seperatly?
Maybe 1st of all try to write nicknames correctly (will be helpful to find model)..
If you tell about BMW M6 , than remember in what program you are working - SOLIDworks
You must sew surfaces, and make the body solid

Of course you can.
Cut any part you like and make it solid separately of others.

Thanks for the reaction. Now I have a solid body but I want to know if it is possible to divide the body into parts so I can print them seperatly. Is that possible?
I found the answer and yes it is possible.
