How to change a part color in SolidWorks
For whatever reason, whenever I try to change the color of something in SolidWorks it doesn't happen. I assign a part or face a new color but it stays the same old color as before. When I try to change the color again, it shows in the appearances tab that the part has the new color, but the actual appearance doesn't change. Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Hi Patrick, try to click "Remove All Appearance" before applying a new color.
