How to create 3D wiremesh model

Hi All

You might be familiar with wire mesh form, usually used as fence for different applications. I would like to create two forms of it, planar and cylindrical ( wiremesh in the form of a tub). in Catia V5 R20

Can you model one "link" of the mesh and pattern it? Rectangular Pattern for the planar, and Circular Pattern for the tub.
