how to create drwing from cad models,
when i try to make a drawing file in sw most of time i get a blnke page and no views to pull in . are they locked?

Go to Tools > Options > System Options > Drawings. Select the check box "Automatically populate View Palette with Views"
This will make your views visible so you can drag them on to your drawing sheet.
Go to tools, options, drawings and check if you have made some changes. If unsure, set at bottom "reset all" and try if it works as it should.
