How to flatten a circle
Hello, i wnat to flatten a circle but i don't want to cut the holes trough the center.
In attach you will find the part i want to flatten and a model of a cut i want to make.
Please someone help me.

Hi,
There are a couple of issues here:
1. In the demo file provided, the base ring is not a full circle- it is actually a 3 point arc with the two points of the circumference 0.001mm from each other.
2. The above causes the cut you want to do to be awkward. Once you put a cut through the model, there is a line where this 0.001mm gap is and there are two folds around this. (file with the suffix -Awkward)
I've also attached a file with the ring split at this gap- I recommend you flat-pattern this and then put the cuts you need on either end so that once it's folded again it will have the pattern you want!
