How to make this type of pattern in solidworks?
Hello all,
Below I have attached an image. I want to make this type of pattern in SolidWorks. The diameter is 150 mm.
How to create this type of pattern in Solidworks? Please guide me or send me the part if anybody has done a similar type of work in SolidWorks. I am using Solidworks 2016 so please send the file of 2016 or earlier version of it.

to create pattern in solidWorks follow it-
click Fill Pattern (Features toolbar) or Insert > Pattern/Mirror > Fill Pattern
choose either circular or rectangle pattern.
That's all freehand, brute-force work with spline curves. There is no 'pattern' per-se, the geometry is quite random.
I made a quick draft of the pattern. It takes about 5-10 mins to get to this point. But then fine tuning and adjusting can be time consuming. See the rough part in the image below:
I did as follows.
Open Inkscape -> Import the image - > Trace Bitmap -> Save as DXF
Open SW -> Import DXF -> Clean up DXF -> Extrude contour.
