How to remove features in SolidWorks?
I have an old SolidsWorks part with lettering that I have to change. The model has no editable features - just a solid blob. Any suggestions on how to remove the unwanted letters that are on a contoured face?
Delete Face didn't work

in the screenshot, I see that SW only counts 4 surfaces, so I guess those letters are not counted as separated surfaces.
Try to add material to that face & through it, then remove it again.

Thanks! I added a Extruded Boss over the lettering, and then used Delete Face on that. Worked great!
