Problem in Motion-study
I modeled a Geneva mechanism in solidworks, but when i want to simulate my model in motion study(in basic motion mode) the Follower part rotates undesirable. This movement caused stopping the motor(Spin part). I checked my constraints and mates frequently but I don't know what is the problem. I'm really confused...!
I attached my model, How should I do? what is my mistake?
Thanks sincerely

In order to work there must be some clearance. You had radius problem. Now there is plenty and works like Swiss.

1) I reduced diameter of spin to 4mm (Your follower slot seems to be 5) and also the diameter of the rotor "hat" (sketch1) to 45 for getting enough clearance/gap. Sure it needs 2 contacts otherwise the follower keeps on rotating when RotorSpin has left FollowerSlot (Sketch3).
2) No mate but contact.

PS. Please, hit worked if You are happy
PS2. Good question. I started to model Geneva mechanical clock because of Your Q.
