Problem with importing IGES to 3dsMax
Some IGES files uploaded here cannot be imported into 3dsmax (i.e. Canon 5d model).
After importing, the scene is blank. In Maxon C4D also it gives the error "incorrect file structure". Both of these programs have IGES import modules. Why is that?

which software exported your iges? max is very bad when it comes to importing solid models. try exporting them as SAT format and see. the otherway is to create mesh from that and import it in max or c4d
I have the same problem with solidworks, after export the part, the are nothing int he file. Maybe, and only maybe, its because i work with the SW 2008 version, but i wanna confirm that.
