Scaling in AutoCAD ?

I am trying to scale an object using the Viewport.

I am trying to set the standard scale.

I am getting the error message "invalid argument scale in setting standard scale property".

I know that I can get the object to fit a 1/32" = 1' scale, but AutoCAD will not let me change the standard scale.
