SolidWorks Assembly Issue

Hello there! I have a question regarding assembly configurations. I'm having trouble figuring out how to automatically keep an additional part suppressed in other configurations when I add it. Currently, I have to manually suppress it in each configuration after adding it. Is there a way to automate this process? Thank you for your help.

I am referring to the addition of parts to an existing assembly that was created separately. I am curious if it is possible to avoid using additional tools to suppress these added parts in alternate configurations.

Hello,
If at the moment of inserting a part in a certain configuration of an assembly there are already several configurations of it, you can start by declaring this part "suppressed in all" and then activate it only in the configuration that interests you.
I'm not saying it's the ideal solution, but it's simple and it works.
