I found today a post from a friend (Nuno) asking how to solve this issue, converting an .stl to solid .ipt.
Then I remembered that I found something in the past regarding this conversion... Yeap! it was in Autodesk Labs

Hi there. For Solid mesh. You must be a three-dimensional model of a part of its Solid material draw from the selection properties.then save the file. in the assembly call file part. And select Environments and select stress analysis you see Icon mesh View
thank you, I can create a "solid body" perfectly. I want to export that "solid body" again after saving as ibs and placing in iam (stl -> ipt -> iam -> stl). But the last export is not possible. I get the message: "No valid solid bodie to output to STL", event with using that tool to change the coordination system of the "solid body", it seems with that error, that it´s acctually no "solid body" anymore...can s.o. explain me that error? Thank you!!!
