using model for academic purpose
hello i'm new to grab cad and have a question concerning the licensing of the models here. i already read terms of service and only ask to confirm.
i want to use one of the models here in my bachelor thesis. And i would need to change said model in some minor part but these would only be functional and would not change the appearance of the model. And the model wouldn't be used commercially in any way.
A'm i allowed to use that model for that purpose?

I'll agree with Trinity, asking the uploader is the best option. That said, I have the opinion that once models are sent to this site (and others), they pretty much become "fair game". Anyone can download, use, modify, build, steal, or otherwise do anything to or with the files.
