variable size chamfer?
Is it possible to get a Chamfer to start from a small size then end to a bigger size. I can do it using a sweep but is there a command like variable radius filled for the chamfer

create a variable radius fillet then delete the surface and create a planar surface where it used to be.
My answer to variable chamfer:
1. Make variable fillet.
2. Make 2 CompCurve on the edges.
3. Make Cut-Loft, so the sketch will have line !!! which make the chamfer.

create the profile on the top of the edge use cut extrude to extrude it over the edge go in the extrude command to taper in the more tab
