what is the maximum file size for up load?

HI , NO HELP YET PLEASE READ THE QUESTION. GUYS WHY DOES IT KEEP TIMING OUT AND NOT UPLOADING MY FILES? ARE THE FILES TOO LARGE? IF YOU SAY NO THEY'RE NOT TOO LARGE ...THEN PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY IT TIME OUT BEFORE COMPLETION? (UP LOADING)

I've never had trouble with file size.
I think some of the largest I've uploaded are about 50 - 60 MB.
Maybe try compressing the file(s) into a zip file? CAD data often compresses quite a bit. I'm sure you'd be able to make it 75% smaller before uploading.
STL files are known to be big in size, exceeding the original's double!
Telling us the files' sizes will surely help, maybe you've exceeded your browser's uploading limit.
Some models here can reach gigantic sizes, but no one has ever mentioned facing such a problem before.
If there is a limit, then it must be huge; as it isn't supposed to be reached.
Maybe the staff could tell you the exact limit, if existed.
Anyways, what is this to do with "SolidWorks"? Why did you choose it as the software?
And what is this to do with "Modeling"? Why did you choose it as the category?
The software should've been "GrabCAD Community", while the category should've been "Other".
Choosing the right software & category will surely help as you'll have a bigger chance of a specialist answering your question.
