Which software use for where Layout design in autocad?
Hello all,
I started working as a Industrial Engineer In warehouse and there is task in which I may have to design layout for optimization ( something like that , they just told me i may have to do this so I was just wondering which autocad software should I download to practice?
If you are familiar with this please suggest me something.

what sort of layout? I've been out of the architect side of design since 2008, but we used a program called "Rivet" back in the day to draw houses and buildings.
If you are just looking for a simple 2D Drafting Software, "AutoCAD Light" would be enough. It costs $400-450 a year. I personally use DraftSight at $99-200 dollars a year. At face value it's a clone. It doesn't have as many quick keys, but it is by DDS (same as solid works) so I use it to keep it all in one wheelhouse.
