How to model hexagonal spring in Solidworks

1. Step 1:

   Create a Helix on outside diameter:
   

   

2. Step 2:

   step2
   

   

3. Step 3:

   step 3.Select the sweep surface,
   

   

4. Step 4:

   step4.Now, open the top plane sketch.hexagonal draw
   And swept base..
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Tools>>Sketch Tools>>Intersection curves.....and Select both surfaces.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Go to Insert > Reference Geometry > Plane or click at the Plane icon
   Select the Endpoint of the Spline as First Reference
   Select the Spline itself as Second Reference
   Click OK
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Now open the sweep and select the circle sketch as the profile, and the Intersection curves as the path
