"How to make a mold tool"
using the final product

1. Step 1:

   In this example, the final product is Android by Sudhir Gill
   

   

2. Step 2:

   sketch on front plane
   

   

3. Step 3:

   create rectangle
   

   

4. Step 4:

   boss-extrude
   uncheck merge results
   

   

5. Step 5:

   do the same thing in the opposite direction
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Now we have three bodies
   

   

7. Step 7:

   split model with front plane
   

   

8. Step 8:

   Now we have four bodies
   

   

9. Step 9:

   - combine
   - subtract
   select the left half of the android, and the left half of the mold
   

   

10. Step 10:

    same on the other side
    

    

11. Step 11:

    now we have two bodies ...
    

    

12. Step 12:

    ... two part of the mold tool
    

    

13. Step 13:

    make two hole through all
    

    

14. Step 14:

    right click on the one body
    insert into new part...
    and save one half of the mold,
    ...
    

    

15. Step 15:

    ...same with another body
    

    

16. Step 16:

    and this is android mold tool
