When considering to machine or 3d print spiral bevel gears it is a good idea to check the tooth contact. Because you have 3d models it is easy to check tooth contact in CAD. This tutorial shows 3d models made from a well-known gear software. The models look very good in 3d rotation and in section views. But the tooth contact is wrong. It means that the gears will not work well.
