Hi there, I can't afford a CNC lathe or milling machine. therefore, I want to be experiencing these machines in my computer through a computer software replica of the machines, to increase my knowledge. Where or how do I get such software(s)? thanks.

try master camX,,, its very easy to use but costs $ US 12,000! try pirated version before buying to make sure you PC supports it, $ 12,000 is a lot of money!
Dear Michael UbakaI. I have some questions. How complex models you want manufacture? what kind CNC equipment you already have. Because one huge problem with CNC is post processor, if you have legal software company help you this all problem.
But before use HSMworks 2D it is free, http://www.hsmworks.com/download/hsmxpress/
but for complex models use MasterCAM X_
You may want to look at Mach3. The Free version does 500 lines of G-Code, also it's cheap. Used CNC mills & lathes aren't that expensive today, $700-$3000.

You can buy a New CNC lathe or mill for $8000.
