How to open a file form future version in Solikdworks 2010?

NOT. Igs or stp are possible, but you will loose all the properties of materials and applied colors. You have to apply those properties yourselve if you want to render the model

BackWorks is a SolidWorks Add-in that will allow you to save your files back as far as version 2012. It Is also able to open and save future versions of SolidWorks.

It is not possible. But you can open STEP/IGES file of future version in Solidworks 2010.

You can not, unless you upgrade to version solidwork higher ..
