how to rotate a part in solid works

Is this the first part being added to a new assembly or are you adding a part to an existing assembly? Are you able to rotate other parts in the assembly? Can you give move details about the problem that you are having?

subassembly part in your right click select "fix" so "float"

If your part is fixed or fully constrained by some mates it will not rotate.Just right click the part in feature manager tree and click the float.Now you can rotate your component either by clicking the scroll key in mouse or by "Rotate" option below move option..hope it will work

I am facing the same problem. There are two pairs of components that repeat in the assembly. In one pair, the rotation happens as required, but it does not happen in the other pair. I have checked for unwanted mates and fix/float mistakes, but there doesn't seem to be any.
