In Solidworks, when I try to insert a part into an assembly, why is the default file type set to "Inventor Part (*.itp)"?

Whenever I try to insert a part into an assembly the file type seems to default to Inventor Part. It used to default to All files, which is what I want. Anyone know why this might have happened? I have attached a screenshot.

Propably try to use one of the quick-filter buttons.
Then insert a part and save the assembly.
Restart SWX and check, whether the choosen quick filter is still active.

If not, we can have a look at your registry.

Doesn't seem to matter what I do. The file type always seems to default to Inventor Part (*.itp). This has been happening for about a month and I have tried every different way I can think of to "insert components"...
