Solidworks adding dimensions problem

hello, anyone had this problem before and found a solution?
In solidworks i have a fully defined sketch, and i still can add black dimensions on,not grey dimensions, whitout getting the error window pop up,but when i try to modify the dimensions the error window pops up. this is unseen, from my experience. thank you

I've run into this general sort of odd behavior before.
As best I can tell, when you have a sufficiently complex set of interconnected relations, Solidworks doesn't always notice when redundant dimensions are added, so long as they agree. When two dimensions start trying to enforce conflicting geometry conditions, however, then Solidworks suddenly realizes that there's a problem.
Solidworks allows a certain amount of redundancy in relations. For example, say you set one line to be vertical, and another to be horizontal. You can also add a perpendicular relation to the pair of lines without any complaints from Solidworks, even though it's redundant, since a vertical line and a horizontal line are, by definition, perpendicular.
Does that help at all?
