Why does the dimension change when i save a design in .stl format?
Hi, I use SolidEdge ST6 for designing. When i create a part in solidedge (say a cube) of 30mm dimensions, after saving it in stl format the dimensions in the stl file changes to about 2mm. This is totally wierd. I use netfabb to check my .stl files. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am not sure how it is in Solid Edge but I had the similar problem in Solidworks. The problem was that in "Options" the export into .stl was set to Inches but the real model (.sldprt) was in mm. I only changed Inches into mm and everything was ok.
No one else has an answer to this? Or any other possible solution to this?
