Hi friends welcome back to CADable. In this tutorial, we will circular spring or torsional spring in SOLIDWORKS2020 and later we will render it in Keyshot9. This exercise contains the following features: 1) Basic 2D Sketch 2) Surface Sweep 3) Solid Sweep 4) Appearance 5) Keyshot (Render) It is a good exercise for beginners and it will be a good practice for beginners. I have divided this tutorial into two parts. In the first part we will model pipe elbow in SOLIDWORKS. In the 2nd part, we will do basic rendering using Keyshot via Keyshot add-in. Notice that I am using both surface and solid geometry while creating this model, i.e. called Hybrid Modeling. Kindly use play pause technique for practice. I have attached files in the description for practice. Feel free to ask your queries in comment section. I will try to answer each and every question. Activate RealView Graphics on an unrecognised Intel graphics card, For example : my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 card on my HP PROBOOK 650 G4 I7-8550U 256GO SSD 8GO WINDOWS 10 PRO 64. I run SolidWorks 2016 on Intel (R) UHD graphics 620 and it is working perfect. Note: After installation, the SolidWorks work very poor, but after, i found a solution for this case . -The Issue: The SolidWorks put all the load on the CPU instead of the Graphics-Card. -The solution : Instruct SolidWorks to move the load to the Graphics-Card. Follow the steps to get the '' RealView 'option with proper operation!!
