how to model a mesh in solidworks

nice tutorial...gave me an idea to make a simplified mesh pattern....if i can get it in the shape i'm looking for...anywho....a few tips to speed things up a bit....in steps 8-11....instead of drawing a center rectangle and making edges co linear with inner edges and converting the solid lines into construction lines then drawing lines from corner to corner....just draw lines from corner to corner of the inner edges and that's it....and in steps 12-14 instead of creating a linear sketch pattern of one line at a time....do two lines at a time....
