Yes you can do it. There are some advanced features avilable in some technical softwares which can be used to model complex surfaces such as a petal of a flower. I have used SolidWorks 2010 to model a flower, I guess the steps below will be helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you don't understand these steps.
